Chips & Beer’s Candy Primer:  APPLES Razor blades or not, only a real psychopath would push fruit on innocent children. Anyone who’s ever been the victim of this trick at the hands of health conscious parents during their trick or treating career knows that this stuff goes right into the bushes or trash as soon as possible. However, it has been shown that apples can be used as a very effective warding off technique when given to the increasing multitude of kids who come to my door looking about 43 years old, dressed in black, assuming that I will believe that this is some kind of real costume. Just remember that it is highly recommended to be armed when answering the door while employing this tactic. The “kids” probably are.  [Adam Ganderson]
