Chips & Beer’s Candy Primer: RING POP
Ninth grade sluts Jenny Chance and Liz Brady wore matching Ring Pops on their fingers. They wore them always. Even on the weekends. We figured them lezzies since they never went out with dudes and spent as much time laving and sucking each other’s Ring Pops as they did their own. Rip, AKA Ded, Junkins said they didn’t need to do any dudes; they got off on getting dudes off without ever even touchin’ them. Bobby Bunn even confessed to coming in his pants in the lunchroom while watching Jenny and Liz fellate each other’s pop. The beginning of the “hands free” movement for sluts, and something for Naomi Wolf to consider nearly a decade before she started blabbing about femmes empowering themselves through robust sexuality.
